Customer Service Philosophy

With more than 19,000 design projects to our credit, Sutton-Kennerly & Associates, Inc. (SKA) has built a reputation for excellence which consistently satisfies clients and meets their needs.


Our reputation rests on a few basic business practices:

  • Everyone on SKA's staff understands that we work for the client.  We offer our clients choices, rather than telling them what they "should" do, and then provide engineering design that fulfills the project's requirements for function and cost.

  • We establish one-on-one working relationships with our clients. At SKA, a Principal is directly responsible for overall project management and serves as the client's primary contact.

  • SKA brings years of experience to every project. Clients benefit from our firm's broad experience designing many different kinds of facilities. They can be confident that our engineers have extensive experience in their specialties.

  • SKA engineers do work that is technically excellent. Our project engineers hold professional registrations and most have advanced degrees. They keep current on the latest technical standards and state-of-the-art engineering design through regular in-house and off-site workshops and seminars. All projects benefit from our use of advanced, computer-aided design technologies.

  • We take pride in our designs and stand behind our work. SKA engineers maintain high design standards on all projects. We are quick to point out and resolve problems as they arise and have a reputation for succeeding on the toughest projects -- large and small.
